Lately I am REALLY INTO C-POP.
I know that Cantonese songs haven't been good in the past few years (ever since the arrival of Twins that is). But there are better artists coming out this year and also in the previous year as well. Here are the newest songs that I think are good =) And even if they aren't good, they are new =p



陳柏宇 (Jason Chan) - I Miss You

Comment: Jason Chan once entered a well known singing contest in Toronto (Canada) a few years ago but he didn't win. However someone took the initiative to train him and started to send his songs in Hong Kong. And when one music company decided to open a contract for him, Jason's journey to fame began =p I really like jason. He is so cute. I realize that he lives near me (like his house in Toronto) but I am not REALLY SURE (no I am not a stalker). His songs are always filled with emotion but unfortunately he is not producing ENOUGH SONGS!!!



陳小春 (Jordan Chan) - 我不是偉人

Comment: I don't know much about this guy's music background. I actually know more about his acting experience/career. He is well known in movies that revolve around gangs because he can be quite scary >.< Anyways his songs are usually quite emo, it always talks about breakups and such. His voice tends to portray such sadness quite well.

Comment: I think I found a pretty decent picture of her (probably the best one too!). She is from macau (I think). Janice is one of the better singers, she is VERY popular and her albums usually do quite well. She is not selling her songs based on looks (like most HK artists) but based on her talent (which seriously should be the case for every artist). She excels in slow songs so I hope she will start singing some fast ones in the future =p



泳兒 (Vincy) - 喜歡一個人很累

Comment: Vincy again is the not the best looking celebrity out there but she's not ugly. She sings an octave higher than most females. I tried singing her songs in karaoke rooms and I realized that I could never finish singing ANY of her songs without dying -.- The lyrics to this song is pretty good. I tried making it my ringtone but the melody is too undramatic to be a good ring =p



方力申 (Alex) & ��麗欣 (Stephy) - 我的最愛

Comment: I wish they stop putting these two together. Did they really date in real life or was it some trick their companies played to boost up their popularity? I seriously think Alex gained more popularity after getting together with Stephy. Both singers aren't that great but for some reason they sound wonderful in duets. I have to say that I have fallen in love with this song. Now their movies are just way over-advertised. Oh right..sorry for the 18+ image but I found it HOT!



周柏豪 - 傻小子

Comment: Is he a newb? I believe so. Well he released one album but that's about it. I just know that he looks REALLY GOOD. Angelababy and Janice Man are always with him but I think that's because they model together. Anyways he's an OK singer for his looks. I don't know too much about him but I just know this song is quite popular among the guys =p

I haven't been swamped by midterms yet...but my week has pretty much been hell
It's more towards life issues...therefore i've been emo lately =.=
If i was free a few days ago I'd be typing how I felt in detail...but I doubt you guyz care.

I realized a lot of things this year..well the year of being 19 =D
I actually have A LOT OF GOOD FRIENDS
What is your definition of a good friend? Or ... friend? My friends would drive me if they have a car if I was in trouble/lost/stuck. They would call me right away if they knew I was sad. They would stay up to make sure my problems are solved. They are always here for me. I don't think you could find such friends easily. I've been friends with most of them for 3-4 years. And some for 10..yes..10 = AMAZING.

Ever since I entered university I thought the people I met were nice. For a few..this is true. However I noticed that no matter how nice or how caring I was for a few ... they would never understand ... they just treat me like shit. And I've learned to finally ignore. I complain a lot...I've been told by many but I met someone who complains so much...it is comparable to myself. And seriously...I CAN'T STAND IT. Anyways...my list of sad encouters may go on and on...do u feel like shit lately? Well...it's time to get rid of it!

I hate to admit this but she's good. I've never liked her songs because she resung a song by Mika Nakashima. Oh right one thing..I would like to apologize for using the word 'JAP'. I was one reminded by my Japanese prof why the word 'JAP' should not be used...for those who don't know..search it up with the keyword 'WORLD WAR 2"...am I right? Anyways if you pur a period of JAP = JAP. it's alright..but don't leave it without. Most of us didn't know this so our prof was like just be sure from now on...
Anyways, Vincy seriously has a good voice and she can sing. At times her voice is a bit weak but she hits those damn high high notes. And most of her songs in this album are pretty nice...I surrender..I like her songs m(^_^)m

so..reading week..only like 2 more days remaining.

Comments: This is an EXTREMELY NEW SONG. As in...not released officially yet in a CD or whatever. I have to say that I like this song. Seriously her latest songs suck. I'm talking about 2-3 years..like from 2006-2008..all her songs suck. Like her oldest songs (the fast ones) are the best. The ones made in Paris were OK. This one..finally...FINALLY..the melody has a twist to it -- unique baby. Incase you guyz are newbs, her name is Kelly Chen. Chen, not CHAN.

This is basically a collection of her best songs. I don't know if it's because I listen to her songs too much that I have grown bored to them. Track no.2 is awesome--absolutely amazing. This album is a MUST BUY for those who like KAY TSE. And if you have never heard of her, please download it! She has a really unique voice and her songs are almost impossible to sing. There are so many fluctations (?) and she can reach the high notes!

The expenses for Jolin's album "Agent J" took 50,000,000 Taiwan dollars (1,513,179.80 USD), filming in Paris, England, and Thailand and taking dance lessons in Europe, Taiwan, and USA [1]. Jolin had learn pole dancing and aerial ribbon dancing for a music video for her album "Agent J". Jolin learnt the moves within 10 days of intense training, almost paralysing her right arm [2]. The deluxe version of the new album contains a three-part music movie featuring popular Korean actor Kim Jae Won and Hong Kong stars Stephen Fung and Carl Ng. Metronome, Tacit Violence, Priceless, and Golden Triangle are all written by Jolin herself.

I love how wiki says it. They make it sound so awesome..but it's not haha. I have to say her music videos are always interesting to watch..but it seems like she got a nose job..or some kind of 'job' because her face looks different. The last few tracks of the CD are pretty good but her fast ones don't appeal to me. But since they praise it like hell on wiki, might as well try it =p
