So after my exams, actually even during my exam period I was really hungry for anime. Lately I am addicted to this one: Vampire Knight. I think I first fell in love with it because of its animations. I actually found it a bit boring in episode 4 even though it was all hyped up however episode 5 was interesting =)
When I see one goodlooking girl and many goodlooking guys I assume right away that it will be about LOVE or so the central theme should be that but I WAS SO WRONG. Since I was expecting a lot of lovey dovey moments I was of course disappointed when most of it was not.

So why should you watch this?
The OP and ED I am afraid is the best of this season. Yes, even Macross Frontier doesn't beat them =)

My Synopsis of this anime:
A cute little girl gets attacked by a vampire but is saved by a handsome young man who himself is actually A VAMPIRE. After 4 years, we see Yuuki, the girl who was once attacked to be working as a Perfect for the night school. The night school is basically like a night program for special students. Who are these special students you ask? Well they are vampires disguised as students =)
I think that synopsis is a tad bit boring so let me give u more info. The anime revolves around a school that tries to have both vampires and normal students living together. The goal is for them to live peacefully. But not everyone thinks this will happen and that's where it gets interesting...

Most of you can watch the anime online (because that is what I am doing haha)

Description
This animation usually is accompanied by the subheading "a chain of short stories about their distance" For those who are not interested in anime, this may be it. Makoto Shinkai, the director of this film has produced two others which are very similar in terms of content such as "Voices of a Distant Star" and "The Place Promised in our Early Days" He focuses on a lot of sad themes and in this movie: distance. His endings are usually really realistic and usually unhappy.

A short summary about this movie: two kids who used to grew up together and try really hard to attend the same schools. Their family makes it difficult for them to fulfill that wish because they are always moving to different places. They are separated finally. Both worry about their future (will they ever meet again?) Finally, Takaki, the main character of this animation decides to visit his old friend...

This movie is split into three parts; as years passes by. The graphics alone is an attraction. I would say it's a must watch!

Rating: 4.99/5.0

Thoughts
I don't like the ending. Yes, it's realistic but it's just so sad. I mean did Takaki seriously waste his life thinking about a person that he will never meet? At first, I hoped he would send text msgs to her but he didn't! So is he at fault for the relationship's turnout? I think so. However, I understand perfectly why both of them did not bother to write anymore. I mean, in the end they would be separated again so it would have been just as painful, if not more. I found the second part of the movie to be quite sad too, I felt sorry for that poor girl, but she's STRONG. But, I know why I like this movie so much, it's becuase of the ending. Personally, is distance that much of an obstacle? No, I mean they really really love each other, but when they think about how far and different their lives have turned out, they just give up naturally. Is this what the director is trying to say? That maybe distance is not the 'distance' that is stopping them, it's actually the 'distance' that is created throughout time for not acting, or the 'distance' in general that expands as time goes by because people change. Possibly. Now that I wrote how I feel, I appreciate the animation even more. I will just *nod* to the idea that the distance he is trying to convey is the changes in their lives and how they think, they may feel the same, but when they have been separated so long, it is difficult to return things the way they were.
